The Tunisian Revolution and the citizens awakening

Since 14th January 2011, Tunisia has broken with the repression, the corruption and with the dictatorship that controlled the country with an iron hand. Political analysts, who have studied the nature of Tunisian political power during the last two decades, agree that the system was authoritarian and it will take a very long archival research to know the dysfunction of the politic, economic and administrative system during the last 20 years. The Public Attitudes will, probably, be surprised through the importance of the issues. Indeed, the Revolution showed how Tunisia lived a rupture with authoritarianism but we must not forget that a large number of Tunisian live without the vital necessary. Tunisian television made reports about the miserable living conditions of some citizen. This requires the XXI century while the national wealth was monopolized by certain family related to the deposed regime. Which brings us to say that the popular movement was the result of the absence of a real policy of Regional Development during the last twenty years, which should bring the new tunisian politician to invente a new politic style based on modernity, pluralism and the « open gov ». Now, the new Tunisian elite must understand the ambitions of the new generation and hopes of youth for a better life which showed a great political and social maturity.
